Valerie Plested is one of the finest American born fiddlers in Irish music today. big plain records has taken advantage of her visit to Houston to arrange this workshop. Anyone interested in learning more about Irish music, especially fiddle players should attend. Her dedication to Irish music has led Valerie to study with notable musicians Liz Carroll, James Kelly and Brian Conway. Valerie plays with the band Legacy and was previously a member of the award-winning group St James Gate. Valerie is coming to Houston to perform at The Mucky Duck with Legacy on Friday, April 17th.
