The gifted multi-instrumentalist Beth Patterson is best known for her vocals and bouzouki playing with The Poor Clares and Legacy. big plain records has taken advantage of Legacy's visit to Houston to arrange this workshop. Bouzouki, cittern, octave mandolin and guitar players interested in accompanying Irish music should attend this workshop.

She has appeared on numerous recordings by Legacy, The Poor Clares and many others. Several years ago, she spent time in Ireland studying Irish Music at University College, Cork and, as a result, is instantly recognizable to scores of native Irish musicians. Beth also composes songs and tunes and has produced albums for The Poor Clares and Patrick O'Flaherty.

Beth is coming to Houston to perform at The Mucky Duck with Legacy on Friday April 17th. All five members of the band are giving workshops.
